这部名为《接吻吧，不为媒体》（The Kiss is Off the Record）的电影于2月5日在俄罗斯上映，该片的DVD在2月14日情人节当天全面发行。在俄罗斯总统选举前夕推出这样一部电影并不足为奇，克里姆林宫从2000年开始就一直在努力提升普京的正面形象。
展现普京温柔一面
据报道，电影《接吻吧，不为媒体》的主角和普京有很多共同之处，但制作人坚称这角色造型是源自“集体形象”，而非普京其人，“今天我们将我们的领袖引以为荣，塑造像他一样的英雄人物有何不可？”
在公众场合人们看到的是一位刚强的普京，在这部电影里人们却看到普京温柔的一面。在电影里“普京”是一位体贴的丈夫和慈爱的父亲。
过去的8年，克里姆林宫一直在努力提升普京的正面形象，出现在公众面前的是一位坚定刚强的俄罗斯领导人。人们在电视上看到普京驾驶战斗机，但是他的私生活却鲜为人知。现实中普京对他家的宠物狗说的话比对家人说的话还多，他的女儿很少露面。
俄罗斯第一夫人柳德米拉很少露面，很少与普京一起旅行，柳德米拉甚至在照相机面前仍会感到不安。但是在电影里这一切都改变了。普京的女儿很突出，妻子柳德米拉是焦点。
故事提到“柳德米拉”出车祸受伤，“普京”陪伴左右，帮助她再次走路。戏中还有睡房温馨的一幕，“柳德米拉”正胡思乱想时，“普京”手捧一束鲜花和一根花了数小时找到的拐杖回来安慰她。观众看后，都对普京的印象发生改变。
电影主演与普京经历相似
电影男主角亚历山大·普拉托夫的身世也与普京相似：在圣彼得堡追求任职空姐的女友，冷战时与她一起调往东德，其后回到圣彼得堡短暂逗留，不久便到了首都莫斯科，踏上政治生涯的高峰。
只是亚历山大·普拉托夫头发比普京多一些，但是发型都是一样的。从电影宣传海报上看，亚历山大·普拉托夫与俄罗斯总统普京很相似。
电影《接吻吧，不为媒体》是在2002年至2003年间拍摄的，但是在今年2月14日情人节推出，比3月2日的俄罗斯大选提前了17天。总统候选人俄罗斯联邦政府第一副总理梅德韦杰夫得到普京的支持，普京总统将于今年5月离任，有报道称普京有可能接受梅德韦杰夫的建议出任俄罗斯联邦政府总理。
俄罗斯将于2008年3月2日举行总统选举。除梅德韦杰夫外，俄罗斯民主党主席安德烈·波格丹诺夫、俄罗斯自由民主党主席弗拉基米尔·日里诺夫斯基、俄罗斯共产党主席根纳季·久加诺夫也将竞选国家总统。
俄罗斯一名30岁的商人丹尼斯·法捷列夫在观看电影后表示，他喜欢这部电影，但是如果说这部电影对普京有利，他不同意这种看法，他认为这太晚了。他说：“我们现在对梅德韦杰夫更有兴趣。”

In most colleges and universities the examination is used as a chief means of deciding whether a student succeeds or fails in mastering a particular subject. Although it does the job quite efficiently, its side effects are also enormous.
To begin with, examinations lower the standards of teaching. Since teachers are often judged by examination results, they are reduced to training their students in exam techniques. No subjects can be taught successfully merely through being approached with intent to take examinations. In addition, the most undesirable effect is that examinations encourage bad study habits. As the examination score is the only criterion for his academic performance, a student is driven to memorize mechanically rather than to think creatively.
In fact, few of us admit that examinations can contribute anything really important to the students’ academic development. If that is the case, why cannot we make a change and devise something more efficient and reliable than examinations?
